It has been a while, but the madness still continues at our house. I just wanted to send ya out a couple pictures of the kids. Things have been going well. I am a day to day substitute teacher at Freedom Jr. High still, and we are continuing with Skybacher Ministries. Julia is now 1 and is walking around chasing her siblings. The other 2 have figured out what sibling rivalry is, and Kristie has just recently purchased a referee shirt (just kidding).

Everything else is well, Skybacher Ministries continues to grow. Recently we had a dessert open house, and soon we will be having our first board meeting.
Happy Easter & Happy Spring time!

Well, soccer is finally over, we gracefully, and quickly bowed out of the playoffs. It still was a lot of fun having the school’s first winning season. Now I am actually moving onto 7th grade boys basketball. Our tryouts are tomorrow. I have continued to substitute teach nearly every day at Freedom Jr. High, and keep doing things for the ministry. This past weekend I just got back from speaking at a jr. high retreat.
The family is doing well. Julia has been battling a cold over the past couple of weeks but everyone else has been healthy. The kids had fun trick-or-treating, and we had fun eating all of their candy!!!
Things with the ministry continue to amaze us. Pray & Play has become a well-known youth fellowship among many of the local kids. We also just had our first ever Flag Football Frenzy. It was a lot of fun, and we had a ton of kids out for the day. Thank you for your prayers and support it is making a difference in young people’s lives.

After 9 years and 8 losing seasons the Freedom Girls Soccer team has put together a winning season, and with that they’ve made the playoffs!!! I can not believe it. I have coached Freedom Soccer for 9 years and we’ve never even come close to thinking about the playoffs, but this year was different and that’s where we are headed. It’s very exciting!!! Our first round game should be on Monday October 24th, tba.

Things with the family are going well. Julia is pulling herself up and crawling, Renae had her second birthday and is talking more and more each day (which I guess is a good thing) and Ty is adjusting well to pre-school, and he is doing really well at his first year in soccer.

Skybacher Ministries Inc. continues to move along. We are having Pray & Play every Sunday and continue to pull 15-20 kids a week. Kristie started a weekly girls Bible study, and at the end of the month we are having a flag football tournament.
Finally many of you know my sister Jill. She got married on September 25th. It was a beautiful country wedding. Congratulations Jillby & Sam!

Today is Nae’s birthday! It’s amazing how fast life goes by. Speaking of life flying by, it has been a while since I last updated this. Tyler is now 4, and Nae is 2. Julia is walking and did her first cartwheel. (just kidding on the latter), but she is crawling around.
I just started back to school as a substitute. Kristie has been trying to keep the house in order, and the kids have been trying to wreck it.
Things with Skybacher Ministries Inc. continue to grow each and every week. The Lord just keeps giving us contacts and young people he wants us to invest in. On the Sep 25th we are having a worship service, Oct 1 another dodgeball tournament, and Oct 29th a flag football tourney. Please keep these events in your prayers.I also am still coaching soccer this will be my ninth year and we are still hoping for our first winning season. We got off to a good start as we started out 3-0. Maybe this is the year!!!

On July 27th, 2005 Skybacher Ministries celebrated it’s first anniversary. That was the day that the ministry became incorporated. It also happens to be the day Kristie and I celebrate our anniversary. We have now been married 9 years!!! Wow that is hard to believe. It has been an exciting and stressful time of year, but that tends to be how our summers are. God has met all of our needs and it’s amazing to think where we were a year ago, just kind of taking a crazy step of trusting God for Skybacher Ministries Inc. He hasn’t let us down!
Dream on people!
Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart!

We just recently sent out our newest newsletter. Most of you should be getting that, so if you’re not and you would like to please let us know. Things are going well we’re just trying to stay cool like everyone else. We’ve been working hard on things for the ministry.
On Tuesday nights we have Pray N Play. We’ve been averaging around 20 kids per week which is really exciting. It’s been really cool to see the kids open up a little more each week and share what concerns are on their hearts that we can be praying for. The kids are doing well, we’ve discovered Julia really doesn’t care for the heat and humidity. It seems like she just sits and cry or yells if she’s not right in front of a fan or in air conditioning. Just like her mom! (just kidding). Have a good day!!
