Here in the States in our sports world we are currently worried about the NHL and NBA Playoffs, or following the start of our favorite baseball team. I too am following all of those things but I am most excited about this Sunday. Across the pond is one of the biggest soccer games of the year in the English Premier League, when Chelsea (My Team!) takes on Manchester United (The team of people who are delusional). The winner of this game will likely be crowned the Champion with only 2 games remaining thereafter. I can’t wait to see the result. I made this little cartoon to commemorate the event! Go Chelsea!! Hot Diggity Dog!
I coach a U-10 soccer team. For the past two seasons we’ve called ourselves the Hot Dogs. (I have no idea why, I think someone yelled it out and I went with it.) Anyway the Hot Dogs are off to an amazingly “hot” start. In our first two games we’ve scored 20 goals and allowed zero, and we’re not even hot doggin it! I got thinkin about the team name and thought it would be cool if I made a logo of a soccer playing hot dog. This is what I ended up with. What do ya think?
