Nani, Rooney, Berbatov
Ok I have to hand it to them, Manchester United has won the Premier League Title. Congratulations! I’m not a big fan but respect them anyway. I’ve drawn a ton of soccer cartoons over the past 2 and half years but not many of them have been players from Manchester United. I had to take a stab at who I think should have been the player of the year: Nani. I also included the winner of the Golden Boot Dimitar Berbatov. Finally I added Rooney the heart and soul of the team, who wanted to go to Manchester City half way through the season. (Still gotta take a jab or two). Someday I wanna add a very respectable hard working (old Grandpa) Ryan Giggs, but he’ll have to wait. So Congratulations Manchester United, and Chelsea will be back next year if we can find someone to take Torres off of us!

A Cartoon Showdown of Drogba vs. Rooney
Here in the States in our sports world we are currently worried about the NHL and NBA Playoffs, or following the start of our favorite baseball team. I too am following all of those things but I am most excited about this Sunday. Across the pond is one of the biggest soccer games of the year in the English Premier League, when Chelsea (My Team!) takes on Manchester United (The team of people who are delusional). The winner of this game will likely be crowned the Champion with only 2 games remaining thereafter. I can’t wait to see the result. I made this little cartoon to commemorate the event! Go Chelsea!! He’s battled through a few injuries but the reports are that he is fit to play, I hope so because USA is gonna beat him up in the opening World Cup match.
