The Steelers Are Back in The Playoffs!!!!
Well we should have beaten the Jets. It put a little bit of a downer into our Christmas party, but the good news is that we will be back into the playoffs. Now it’s time for the city to start getting Steeler fever! I thought I’d celebrate by sharing with you my new Hines Ward cartoon. If I ever would’ve played football it would’ve been like Hines. So here we go Steelers, Here we Go!!!!
Fun Christmas Card Inspiration!
So Christmas is coming and there are still a few who send out Christmas cards. With all of the advances in technology it has become kind of a lost art form. It’s much easier to text “Merry Christmas” then to send out cards. My mom used to always design her own card and then she would make her children color them before she sent them out. She still makes one each year to this day. It’s a tradition that she passed on to my sister and I. We’ve both been making our own Christmas cards for years. I thought I’d share some of my Christmas Card inspiration from the last 3 years. Maybe on another post I’ll share the poems that have gone along with each of them. Yes every year I draw a Christmas Card picture, and write a Christmas poem. Enjoy and leave any ideas for future Christmas cards. I’m thinking Charlie Brown Christmas this year.
Santa Claus is Coming to Town!!
Well I hope everyone had a relaxing and wonderful Thanksgiving. The site reached 1001 hits the day before Thanksgiving, which I am now calling Golden Wednesday because I was so excited. Thanks to everyone for checkin out the Thanksgiving coloring pages now I’m moving on to Christmas. I thought I’d start things off with the big guy himself. So here he is a little Santa!

Ok no turkey tonight, just dug through some old hand drawn cartoons and found this one of Captain Ba-Boom! Ha I actually just made that name up, but I had fun converting him in illustrator. Now he can bring the Ba-Boom!!!

Steelers T-shirts Are Coming!!!
Ok so the Steelers are off to their 4th straight 6-2 start. It didn’t end so well last year, but I’m more hopeful for this year. Also just around the corner is Christmas (and hopefully another Steeler’s Championship). I’ve been working hard on some illustrations of 3 of the Steelers icons. Troy Polamalu, Hines Ward, and James Harrison. Soon you’ll be able to get these icons in t-shirt form. So tell me what you think and let me know what size you’d want. The cost of the shirts will be $18. The t-shirts will be gold with black and white print and will look just like the designs shown.
